Important Notice

The Valhalla Committee would like to advise that effective december 31st, these forums will be deactivated. You will no longer be able to utilise the classifieds or PM functions of the site.

If wishing to make sales or look for things to buy we urge you to remain involved in your local community lan - you can follow the links on the right - or try overclockers.com.au but be aware they have some restrictions for new members.

Please note you will need to wrap up all sales, purchases and other transactions by midnight, December 31st 2012.

You will still be able to reach the Valhalla committee for enquiries, assistance or gear loans on committee@valhall.net.au unless advised otherwise.

Valhalla - Now in Hiatus

Ladies and Gentlemen, the Valhalla committee thanks all of you for your time and efforts over the years to make Valhalla and Reloaded events great.

The most important part of the events Ive run for the last 6 years has been the people who've turned up. You guys have been awesome, and I hope you have fond memories of our events, and more importantly, I hope some of you are inspired to do your own.

Since 2007, the Valhalla and Reloaded Committees have given away more than $140,000 in cash, and more than $600,000 in prizes. This has only been possible due to some awesome sponsorship partnerships. Of particular note Id like to mention Thermaltake, Steelseries, Anyware, Engineering IT, Zenith Computers, Gametraders in South Australia, and Gamequest in the city.

I would personally like to thank the admin team: Arnie, Cyberhorse, Pingers, Pugs, Bennytripper, Azz, Spindor, who were there right to the very end when we turned off the lights at 5am this morning. As well as the former BFO crew who helped me hijack Valhalla in 2007 and retired earlier this year - Commander El, Kizza, Juzzy, Wedgie - all you guys were of great assistance over the years and its been a pleasure working with you.

Also Id like to mention the Valhalla Committee guys, who are some of the most dedicated individuals Ive ever worked with in any capacity, particularly Aeth without whom none of my crazy ideas would come to fruition and still helped out with a badly injured shoulder for the last 12 months, and Legion without whom we wouldnt have had a console department and who probably hasnt missed a LAN in 12 years.

Finally, the forums will remain up for another 12 months, and some of our friendly other lans and new start ups will be advertised on our front page and in future events. You can have your events featured by emailing committee@valhalla.net.au.

Final LAN Details

Final Seating layout is complete - no more reservations can or will be taken. There are very limited non reserved seats available, as a result, non ticketed reserved seating will be the first to go if we havent heard from you by midday.

Doors open for setup from 7am, and tickets will be available from the venue then. People helping with setup - all are welcome - will also be able to access the venue early. Please note this event is being held on court 4. The event closes at 3am.
