Important news for our next event Due to curcumstances beyond our control, we have to put our start time back 1 hour to 12pm. We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause. We dont run competitions prior to midday at this time anyway. For those Involved in setup, please consult the admin forums closer to the event.
Please also note that the event will be returning back to the main facility, which means we have a much greater capacity. There will obviously be a change in seating layout and reservations at this time as well.
A number of requested competitions will be returning at this time:
Admin v Lanner MOHAA challenge: Major Prize TBA Wookies Mystery Prize or the Box Competition Thermaltake LAN Box Door Prize Competition
As well as a whole host of other competitions including CSS 5v5, DOTA 3v3, Flatout 2, hopefully the new Trackmania Nations Forever and console competitions as far as the eye can see. Expect the full list to be brought up by the end of the week.
With regards to catering, subway will be at the venue during lunchtime and the afternoon, the Valhalla BBQ will move to our tea break at 6pm (and remains free!), pizza orders and such will be started from about 5pm. 19 comments - The_Wookie - Tue Apr 22, 2008 4:22 am
April Valhalla Over...bring on the May event On behalf of the Valhalla committee, I'd like to express our thanks to everyone who came out on the weekend and made the event so much fun. I know that we as a committee in general are having lots of fun at these events and we trust that you have been enjoying them too.
Threres a lot of gaming going on, and no doubt a fair amount of leeching going on under that, some people playing WoW at the lan, but thats ok, we're glad to have you along for the ride.
A note or two about the May event:
Tickets will be distributed to all vendors some time this week hopefully, and will be $20 each. All tickets purchased will go in the ticket draw to be held at Valhalla on May 31. You MUST be in attendance to win.
The May LAN will also be held in the main arena, a change forced on us by centre management so as to accomodate their saturday skate parties and sunday religion fixes. I strongly suggest bringing warm clothing if you are staying the whole time, as the ceiling is higher and we'll be a little more spread out. 11 comments - The_Wookie - Mon Apr 14, 2008 12:14 pm
