Thanks to everyone who attended the march event. We do apologise for those who couldnt make it due to the date change. Attendance ended up being a little lower than normal (170 not counting spectators). For whatever reason, the ration of women to men was also higher at this lan than usual.
Game participation was a little lower than usual, but only one competition was cancelled for low participation (halo, with many SA players featuring or watching a national online tournament at the same time).
Next LAN is April the 10th, tickets should be on late this week/early next week from all outlets. Seating reservations will open next monday. It should be noted that this is not the Easter weekend. Easter falls on the weekend before this event.

I decided to bring my whole group of friends along, they actually enjoyed it which shows how non-geeky LAN parties really are.

No, LAN parties are very geeky. It's just that being geeky is fun! Also I had great fun. TF2 3v3 was unexpectedly fun and we did damn well considering one of our players had never played TF2 before and barely plays FPS Also brought the missus along who had a blast playing Quake, TF2, Portal, and TA. Won the RA3 comp which I was happy with despite the problems I had trying to host the match. All in all a good fun LAN!

What is your policy on rations and how are they transported to the battlefield? Do you supply vegetarian alternatives?

No surprises there. Not enough people play RA3 for there to be any competition. Good job anyway.

Bomber, Im not sure i understood this question. however, we have the st clair canteen which recently decided to offer what they believe to be health food. Subway can be ordered on site, and they also deliver - and im sure they have vegetarian options. Failing all that, theres nothing to stop you bringing your own food and drink to the venue.
