Well its back to Valhalla in 2010 and there are some big things planned as we move toward network and power upgrades over the next 12 months. To accommodate this, there will not be an increase in ticket prices, but the half price tickets for the next lan will stop for the time being. Ladies will still get in free, and console tickets will still only be $10 at the door.
At the next event:
Date: Saturday February 27th - Sunday february 28th Time: 11am - 3am Cost: $20 (BYO), $10 (console), Ladies free with ticket purchase AND registration.
Main Competitions:
Counterstrike Source 5v5 (PC) - $200 cash first prize Team Fortress 2 6v6 (PC) - $150 cash first prize Ultimate Fighting Championship (Console - our gear) - $75 first prize, $25 second prize FIFA 10 - $50 prize
More competitions to be announced. Timetable, Seating and tickets will be released in the next week.
Next Valhalla: August 21st 2010

If you ever find any hardware to be damaged/faulty please report it to one of the organisers. The PS3 pads were both mine and terras, and nobody made any mention of any of them having a problem. As far as I can see theres nothing wrong with mine.

im not sure if its just how the controller is made but it was the R2 button it felt like it was broken, it was also the sprint button so maybe the person that had it before me pushed it to hard.. so i couldn't even use sprint unless i changed it which i didn't even realize it wasn't working til like the 70th min lol.. oh the problem was, the button would go in and stick but not actually work.. i remember my old ps2 controller did the same thing before i got a new one.. the bottom half of the button would just go into the controller.. (i dont have a ps3 so i don't know lol maybe its not broken at all maybe its just how the controllers are made..)

There normally always is. I'm fairly sure this list of competition's will be adjusted and incresed as the date comes closer to the LAN

there'll be a cod4 comp.
It will also rotate with tf2 this year as the secondary cash competition.

we've decided that with the tf2 turnout last lan, its apropriate to shift our focus from the two comps we've done for the last year. COD4 will be a prize comp, but not a cash comp.
